drift trees

I have always liked the layout of this photo taken on the Olympic Peninsula. I find that the immediate foreground makes you feel at the beach, and the distant ray of light draws your eyes in. The shape of the drift trees remind of the Michael Jackson video for "Thriller". Yes, random I know, but it just looks like the hands in the air off to the side.

This is also another gem of a color photo that gives off a black and white look due to the weather. Again, did not like at first but it grew on me.

Very moody photo. You should tell everyone that that is the only sun we saw that trip!
