Trees of the trip!

I really enjoy uniquely shaped trees. I found many such trees on my recent southern Utah trip. I decided to share my favorites. The first is from Canyonlands NP, on the trail up to Upheaval Dome that ended so funnily. The next one is from Natural Bridges NM when the sun was still rising in the sky and I was on a trail to see one of the bridges. Lastly, a very cool tree from Mesa Verde, just off one of the pull offs.

Which one is your favorite? and why?

Great shots all of them. #3 Is my absolute favorite. I love the way the snow and clouds in the sky pick up the white in this old tree. If they could tell us the stories of what they see..

I like the photo you posted today. Nice work.

Abraham Lincoln in Brookville, Ohio where you can see a tiny fly on a honey bee's wing.

WOW! My favorite is the first one....it looks like the branches are stretched out in praise! I could see that framed and hanging on my wall :)

They are all excellent, but the first one really works for me. I like the composition (the tree isolated against the sky), with good detail in the tree, sky, and foreground. I also like the warm quality of the light!
